First Drop

So, technically this would qualify as my first publishing in the blogging world.

As we get past the half way mark of this journey called PGPEX, I've mixed feelings. Similar one where you run a sprint so fast without looking at the direction just to realize after a while that the earth is round. The faster you run, sooner you make the circle and more often you "wonder". Every such cycle reminds me of the play "Waiting for godot".

So, what have we gained? - diplomatically we can term it as - exposure. Of what? - More people. Wasn't 31 years enough? Well. This is dangerous argument to argue for or against. We stop right here on this dimension.

Another dimension - learning.. No offense. That's what i use to brag about when people asked a few months back - why change? why change now? Difficult to face those folks with confidence now. But ain't we tought to brag and brag without substance in MBA - Well yes, but then you face the mirror everyday. What else - some hostilities as well.

Eternal debate about more and more about less and less OR less and less about more and more. Managements supposedly deals with later approach but then it should have a linear correlation with what we call conventional wisdom - Isn't it? Having a perspective and opinion on everything - no rights and wrongs. Then why seemingly disconnect. Decision making, risk taking, influencing are character attributes. Can it be taught? I disagree - by and large.

Confused - State of mind where you can't decide on which alternative to pick. But then why do we need to pick. Wait and you would realise that all alternatives die their natural death and the most convenient one remains. Seems like the most tried strategy as on date.

Signing off now. Time for the run again. Where - wherever godot takes!! :)
